A stroll in the centre, through the beautiful streets, enjoying an ice cream amidst the scent of pine trees, and then a visit to the Civic Museums at Villa Paolina, the Maritime Museum, or Villa Borbone along the avenue of linden trees, will provide you with good humour as well as insight.

This famous location is just 23 km from Viareggio. It is a world-famous city of art, in particular for its Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To climb the Leaning Tower is a must during a visit to Pisa. The tower is beautiful, iconic, and extremely well photographed.
Florence
A city that needs no introduction, because it is among the most beautiful and famous places in the world. From Viareggio, you can reach Florence in an hour and get lost in its streets and on its bridges, such as the famous Ponte Vecchio. Home of art and culture, in Florence you will be enchanted by the masterpieces housed in the Uffizi Gallery, or by the grandeur of the Duomo.
Lucca
Lucca is only 27 km away from our hotel. This city is famous for its 4 km of city walls, its well-preserved medieval historical centre and the amazing Lucca Comics, an international comic book festival.
Pietrasanta
Pietrasanta, only 11 km from Viareggio, is renowned for its artistic marble work and for being the historic capital of Versilia. The charming historic centre is home to numerous marble workshops. The Cathedral of San Martino is not to be missed.
Forte dei Marmi
Forte dei Marmi (located 10 km from Viareggio) is a very famous seaside resort, the favourite destination for VIPs and show business people. Extensive beaches, well-equipped lidos and many services make it a perfect destination for those who do not want to settle.

Torre del Lago Puccini
A beautiful location that can be reached in less than a quarter of an hour by car from Viareggio. The town is situated between Lake Massaciuccoli and the sea. This is a place of natural beauty, where one can take beautiful walks. It is also a destination for opera lovers, thanks to the Puccini Festival, which pays homage to its most illustrious citizen, Giacomo Puccini.
The Cinque Terre
About an hour's drive from Viareggio is the wonderful Cinque Terre. Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are considered among the most important tourist attractions in Liguria, but especially on the La Spezia Riviera. Nature and picturesque locations overlooking the sea make these places truly captivating, especially for the walks one can take, such as the one along the path connecting Riomaggiore to Manarola.
